Alice stood there in the middle of the wide open field that belonged to the Cullen's. It was the place where they would gather up with each other and play some baseball during the thunder storms that would take place off in the distant, that way, when you heard the cracks that came from the bats hitting the balls, no one thought anything of it, except for the thought of thunder.
A few memories came running through her mind as she stood there, she could remember when Edward brought Bella here, for her to watch a game of baseball to go on, plus, there was the fact that, that was the same night when James and his fellow vampires showed up there. It seemed like things went down hill after that.
Alice shook her head, ridding of those thoughts that went through her head, she needed to keep a clear mind, only concetrating on what the Volturi's were doing--to keep track of whether they were to be heading off towards them anytime soon. Alice hated the thought of what the Volturi's would ever do if they were to know that Bella had not been changed yet, or for them to even get a hold of her before any of them were able to get her and hide her away from them.
An unwanted sigh came from her pale lips, as she turns around, staring off towards the trees ahead of her, a slight smile curled across her lips as she awaited for the lady to come into view.

Esme wasn't one to dwell on the past that much but every time she came to this part in the forest, the start of all their troubles began here, and she couldn't help but to think about what had happened that faithful day. Since then no one has relaxed or been at ease. The wedding had only caused more commotion and stress but she was still thrilled that she was getting another daughter. Bella hadn't seemed all that excited and Esme had wondered why. Edward was so tense and on his toes about every little thing. Rosalie was apparently jealous though she said she wasn't. A mother's instinct was almost always right. Almost.
As these thoughts swirled around in the vampires head, the sun peaked behind a dark gray cloud, making millions of tiny diamonds appear as if they were engraved into Esme's pale skin. She smiled as she made her way up the forest and to where she heard her daughter, Alice, go to. "Alice my love, how are you?" she spoke softly. Though she was about a mile away, Alice could her hear. Any vampire could. The enhanced senses that vampires get when they are turned never surprise her quite like they used to.

Alice's smile widden as she saw her..well, mother starting to approach the field, she always loved being around Esme "I'm doing good, mother. How are you?" there was still a good distant from the two of them, but she knew that Esme would hear every word as clear as a bell, as if she was just standing right there next to her.
The smile stayed in the young girls lips, she remembered that she really heard of how Esme was feeling aobut all of this, though, she did know that she was happy for Edward and Bella, to finally see that Edward finally found a girl that he wants to be with, to be with her forever..eternity, really. Alice could remember how other vampire girls would flirt with Edward and want to be with him, but he would just merely turn them away--they never interested him in any way, not the way that Bella does. She had noticed over the years, that even the slightest word of Bella, his head turned, looking for her, it would make Alice giggle everytime.

Esme's smile grew wider as she heard Alice call her mother. Her children always made her do that. "I'm fine, just trying to find some place to relax. Edward is on his toes about the Volturi and Carslisle is at the hospital while Rosalie just sits on her room most of the day." A sigh escaped the vampire's pale lips. And like all mothers when their children had problems, she tried to fix them, but this time they had to fix it themselves. She could only give advice now.
"Do you know where Jasper and Emmett are?" Esme asked as she frowned slightly. She hadn't seen them in a few days which was common but she just wanted to make sure everyone was somewhere safe. Even if they could fend for themselves, it was in her nature just to be worried. But what could happen? The last time she thought that Edward was going to Italy and Victoria was still on the loose. As she got to her daughter she pecked her on the cheek. "Still getting together the wedding?" She asked as her smile came back to her face.

Alice gave a nod towards Esme, she had noticed how Edward was being lately, but she could understand why. Alice herself was always keeping her mind clear, checking every so often in on the Volturi family to see what they were up too, to make sure they weren't planning on anything any time soon, if they were--things were going to get chaotic around the little town of Forks, and only those of the Cullen family, plus Bella, would know of what would be going on.
"Jasper and Emmett went on another hunting trip.." a sigh came from her lips, as the words came out. She hated it when Jasper left for the hunting trips, she'd go with them--but she had so much to do around the house, with the wedding and such, that she just couldn't bare to go. Alice got the smile back when Esme gave her oh-so-motherly kiss on her cheek "Yea I am.." her eyes glowed then "Ooh..and the other day in the park, Rose asked to help me!!" she exclaimed excitedly "I'm so happy that she is wanting to help me."
