The Turning Process
• There are two ways to feed off of a mortal. The first way is to suck the mortal dry of all blood (leaving them completely dead) and the second is to begin drinking, but not finishing (this is the insert of venom therefore turning the mortal into a vampire.)
• IT IS ALMOST PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR A VAMPIRE TO TURN A MORTAL INTO ANOTHER VAMPIRE. Once the taste of blood hits a vampires lips (or with some, even the smell of blood), they lose all control. They have no rational train of thought and get lost in the moment. The vampires will power must be that of Hercules in order to be able to do this task.
• The pain of being turned is the sharpest memory a vampire has of its human life. Some don't remember anything about being human.
• Being turned feels as if your entire body has been dipped in acid than set on fire. It is the most excruciating pain one could ever feel, worse than death even. Every minute the pain grows until you are begging for death.
• The pain can last anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks depending on how close to the heart the bite was, how much venom was inserted and how big the human is.
• The most pain is felt after the venom has made it's way through the heart and begins to meet itself in the veins. The venom then burns the veins dry of all substance and they dissolve.
• Venom moves much slower than blood because it's thicker.
• The burning of the veins is most painful because it takes the longest amount of time. Venom must be leaked through every cell.
• When the Heart stops beating, the transformation from human to vampire is complete.
Appearance
When most think of a vampire, they see a black-haired, white-skinned count in a flowing black cape, right?
My, my, you couldn't more wrong.
The vampires appearance is as different as the people you see walking down the street. Each has their own very distinct facial features, body type and hair color. There are, however, a few common links that one could use to distinguish a vampire from a mortal.
#1. Each vampire, in their own unique way, is inhumanly beautiful. They are physically perfect in every way to the human eye. A lot of the time, humans will refer to the vampires looks as that of an angel, God or Goddess.
#2. All have pure white skin, paler than an albino. But in the sunlight, they shine like a billion individually cut diamonds of the purest kind.
#3. Because of the no need for rest, they have dark purple bruises under their eyes (also known as bags).
#4. It is common knowledge that vampires have fangs HOWEVER, some vampire's teeth are so sharp without fangs that they can bite through solid metal effortlessly.
#5. The color of a vampire's eyes depends on its diet. If the vampire choose morality over instinct, they will live off of animals and their eye color will be a golden, topaz brown. If they live off of humans, their eye color will be deep red. (Contacts are an option).
Facts that you need to know
• When a human turns into a vampire, they are frozen that way for the rest of eternity. They do not age, their hair stops growing, they cannot gain or lose weight, they stay EXACTLY that way forever. They will even stay pregnant forever if they are pregnant when they are turned.
• Vampires cannot get pregnant.
• A Vampires skin sparkles, yes sparkles, in the sunlight.
• They can't cry, sweat or produce any other natural bodily fluid. All they have is their saliva-like venom.

• Because vampires have no blood-flow, they are constantly freezing cold. It feels as if they had been standing in a meat cooler.
• A vampire cannot go longer than 2 weeks without feeding.
• The hungrier a vampire is, the more of a threat they are. The animal instincts take over the mind and they lose all sense of control.
• When a vampire is hungry, his/her eyes darken. The darker the eyes are, the hungrier they are so if the eyes are black, watch out.
• When they are turned, everything about the mortal is intensified.

- They can smell like a hound dog. Some vampires track humans by scent as a way of life.

• Their voices are beautiful and beyond pleasing to listen to. It's a lot like listening to someone sing.
• They smell amazing to humans, all the time.
• Essentially, the vampire is the perfect hunter. Their looks, grace, charm, beautiful voiced and sweet smell paired with the strength, speed, agility and reflexes are a deadly combination. It doesn't help that they are practically indestructible either. You'd better watch whom you mouth off to.
• Vampires can stay statue-still for days at a time.
• Their skin is like solid granite.
• The venom can't be absorbed. It must be added directly to the blood stream.

Truth vs. Myth
1. Myth - Vampire's sleep in coffins.
Truth - Vampires do not sleep. They are awake for all of eternity.
2. Myth - Vampire's cannot be in direct sunlight.
Truth – Vampire's are not changed or harmed in anyway by sunlight.
3. Myth – A vampire can be killed with a wooden stake through the heart.
Truth – Things such as a stake through the heart, holy water, garlic and crosses have no effect on the creature what so ever. The only sure way to kill a vampire is if another vampire or creature stronger than them tears them apart and burns the remains.
4. Myth - A vampire can turn into a bat and/or fly.
Truth – This is simply not true. They have no shape-shifting abilities nor the wings to fly.
5. Myth – Vampire's cannot see their reflections and aren't seen in photographs.
Truth – They can see themselves in mirrors and water and they are visible in pictures.
