Emily got out of her beaten up pick up truck that her father had given her for her 17th birthday. It was a rusty blue color, but it got her from point A to point B. It wasn't like she drove that many places now. She was too embarrassed by her scars that ran across her face. But why would she let a thing like that stop her for doing what she wanted? That was no way to live her life. If people has issues with the way she looked, too bad.
The brunette woman had decided to wander outside her own back yard to get away from the her daily life. It wasn't that she hated living with her fiancee Sam, but it was sometimes over crowded when his pack members came over. The house wasn't big enough for all of them plus her. The meek human of the bunch.
Gently she closed her truck door and walked over to one of the many flower plots that decorated the park. There were many brilliant colors that seemed to be tossed together to look visually appetizing and so aromatic.

Boredom. Even though Rosalie had a few more options than the average human, none of them seemed appealing today. She breathed a dramatic sigh and ran her fingers through her long hair. I could go hunting. She thought as she checked her eye color in the mirror. Not that she needed too. Rosalie could almost always tell the color of her eyes by the way she felt. Then again, she was Rosalie Hale, and she never turned down a chance to admire her reflection. Rosalie sighed yet again, realizing that the possibility of hunting was now ruled out. She liked to keep the same amount of time in between trips, because it made everything easier. Going hunting now would be pointless because she wasn't that thirsty yet. Shopping was another possibility that was soon ruled out. Rosalie had no clue where Alice was, and shopping just wasn't the same without her. It seemed like going outside was the only option she had left.
A feeling of annoyance surged through Rosalie. Usually she wasn't the restless type. In one fluid motion she tore her stare away from her perfect reflection and stood up. On the way out of her room she grabbed one of Emmett's hooded sweatshirts off her dresser and slid it on. It was baggy in the extreme, but the simple fact that it belonged to him made her feel slightly better. On anyone else it would look ridiculous, especially if they were wearing the little denim shorts that she had on. Rosalie wasn't in the mood to go change her clothes. "I'm just going for a run, it's not like anyone will see me."
Seconds later Rosalie was flying through the forest. It was more fun then she'd hoped. Because of the recent events in her life, mainly Edward and Bella's upcoming wedding, she'd taken to running a lot more than usual. For some reason it seemed to get better every time. The golden haired vampire moved through the forest with an unnatural speed and grace, unsure of exactly where she was going.
Her angular nose winkled in surprise when a scent hit her. A human. Rosalie came to an abrupt stop just in time. Her eyes were narrowed and filled with anger as she gazed upon the human girl. She wondered if the human would find it weird that she'd appeared out of nowhere. At the back of her throat she felt a dull tingling sensation. "Hello." She greeted quietly, forcing her sudden desire for blood away.

The air of the park suddenly changed from its warm and inviting feel for a cooler environment. Goosebumps formed on the back of her neck and along her tanned arms, Emily casually brushed her hair out of her face. Though her insides we screaming for her to run, she stayed calm. At least on the out side.
Emily turned to face the almost angel like voice to find a stunning girl that looked about her age. It was amazing to see the muted sun rays make the girl's face sparkle like diamonds. Emily caught herself wondering what she would look like if she had that effect. But there was something she didn't feel safe about the stranger.. It was like all things in life, too good to be true.
"Hi." was her intelligent response. Emily cowered to think what this model esque person thought of her appearance. Huge scars running down her face, simple clothing, not to mention the fact she was staring at the person. That was beyond rude.
