"No, you don't have to talk to her about anything," Bella smiled weakly at Rosalie. Esme had offered the same thing, but she also declined to that. Bella would just grin and bear it for the time being, after all it would only last a few more weeks than things would be back to normal. Well, almost.
When Rosalie wispered the next part of her thoughts, Bella got an odd uncomfortable feeling in the pit of her stomach and chose not to comment. It was strange seeing a different side of Rosalie, her not being so self-centered for once was so unlike her. Bella could now understand why she fit into the Cullen family so well, besides the obvious reasons that is.
"I... don't like to be in large crowds and I hate being the center of forcus. If I was planning this wedding, it would have 11 guests total and be over in 10 minutes," Bella sighed, "and it's not that I don't really want a wedding, it's just so soon."
She had already given up on the idea of being turned before the wedding because, really, that was far too unlikely. In the state that Bella would be in after being turned, there was no way that she could have humans in attendence. And, if things worked in Bella's favour, than she would look and generally be very different than the Bella most people knew now. It would never work out properly.

Nodding once, Rosalie returned Bella’s smile. “If you’re sure.” A sudden idea popped into Rosalie’s mind. “Maybe I could help Alice with some of the planning? That way you won’t be the only one that she can talk to.” Rosalie thought this was a particularly good idea on her part because Alice’s excitement seemed to grow every day. If Bella was going to be changed after the wedding, then she thought that her last memories of being a human shouldn’t be tainted by the added stress of her wedding. Rosalie couldn’t read minds, but she was sure that there had to be a lot on Bella’s.
Biting her lip, she held back the laughter that was certain to be coated with bitterness. She and Bella were so different! Rosalie remembered how excited she was before her wedding. Not just because she was getting married, but because of the attention she was sure to get. The irony in it all was how similar, yet opposite the situations were at the same time. Royce King was like Edward Cullen in the sense that they were both practically local celebrities. Rosalie’s wedding had been huge news, just like Bella’s was sure to be. And yet, Bella had someone who truly loved her. That made all the difference in the world.
Rosalie reached out and brushed a finger against Bella’s hair. It was a small gesture, but she thought it conveyed more than her words ever could. “I don’t know exactly what you’re going through right now, but I can imagine.” That was true enough. “Try to look past the wedding though. I know you must’ve heard it a million times by now, but you only get one shot at being human Bella. Think about that.” Rosalie knew that convincing Bella not to turn was a lost cause, at least directly. So her new goal was to do the only other thing she possibly could – be a friend.

Rosalie held a valid point when she said that Bella had only one shot to be human. It was probably one of the most haunting things she had ever had to think about in her life. All of this could seem like it never exsisted once she was turned. And when the stunning being who sat beside her offered to help with the wedding, it was like the clouds opened up for Bella. That could be just what she needed. Once Alice had someone else to discuss plans with, it was possible Bella could have some air to breath. Perhaps some time to reconcile with Charlie... and just be human.
The thought nearly brought a frown to Bella's face. 'You have to do it Bella, no second thoughts. This HAS to be done.' It was as if she had to constantly remind herself, there was again two options to choose from. Be turned into a Vampire and live forever as a Cullen, or don't be turned and get killed by the Volturi. She flinched. What had Bella gotten herself into?
"Thank you so much Rosalie," Bella's large brown eyes stared blankly and ulterior meanings burned behind her words. It seemed that Edwards sister had just brought on a whole new point of view to Bella, whether she realized it or not.

Rosalie took Bella's expression as a good thing, assuming that her words had reached the human in some way. She wasn't so worried about what Edward would do when he found out that she'd visited 'his' Bella either. And with that, all the thoughts inside Rosalie's mind simmered out. It was a good feeling.
Maybe this was the first step. Now was definitely a good time, because once Bella became immortal there wouldn't be a way to get rid of her. "Yes, well I'm glad I could finally help." She beamed at the girl, an expression that rarely graced her face. "I should let you go back to sleep now. Unless you have anything else you'd like to talk about?" Rosalie didn't have a problem with staying, but she thought Bella might appreciate some time to think alone. Besides, Edward would probably be over soon since it was Saturday.

As if automatic, Bella's head shook back and forth, "No, I think I'm alright Rosalie," she replied in a calm voice. There was a lot of doubt in Bella's mind that she would be able to get back to sleep now. However, she did want to go upstairs and hide under her comforter for the next million years or so (just as Bella did as a child). You know how they say that the blankets on your bed will protect you from all monsters? Who knows, maybe it would work. As it turned out, there seemed to be a lot of truth behind myths.
Looking back up at Rosalie, Bella gave what she presumed to be a convincing smile and stood up. "Thanks for coming by," she said with a nod.

"Anytime," she replied sincerely. It felt nice the know that she actually meant it. The last talk that the two had wasn't as successful. Rosalie stood up and smiled at Bella. "I'll see you around then."
Turning around, she walked out the front door and around to the back out the house. It was drizzling as Rosalie took off into the forest. She felt so much lighter now that she'd let some things out. Her hair bounced around wildly as she sped through the trees. She slowed down to a walk as she neared her house. On the way up to the front door she caught her reflection in the window. Bright honey eyes twinkled back at her, setting off the smile that danced on her face. And for the first time in what felt like an eternity, Rosalie Hale felt truly beautiful.
