Another drizzly, cloudy day in the town of Forks--it was normal, always a normal day here. It wasn't raining hard, just a little drizzle here and there..more so an on and off rain for today. Not that it really bothered Alice, she enjoyed it when she was able to be out and about and not have to worry about being caught for who she truely is.
This caused a smile to her face and, if possible, more bounce to her step as she walked along the sidewalks of the school. It was still early, so she knew that not many people would be there--and she just decided to take a..well, to her, a 'normal' car, then again, Edward had made her promise to not drive the porche around that much, especially to school, it killed her so much.
But, to satisfy Edward, she would do so and only drive it around Forks every so often, Alice did make sure that if she was to leave out of Forks to go to either Seattle or Olympia, she would be sure to be driving the porche, there was no doubt about it.
The girl ended up coming to a halt in her steps, as an image with through her mind, her face went blank as she stared ahead--it was her love, Jasper. Once the thought was gone, a smile went across her lips and she bounced along the sidewalk once more--he was back from his hunting trip with Emmett and Carlisle--this made Alice more happy than anything, she missed her love so much.

Jasper combed his fingers through his unruly blonde curls, and though he very much appeared the casually indifferent teen he did always, he seemed especially eager presently. The almost inconspicuous quirk of the lip that had his mouth tilting at an angle might have been a key indicator. It definitely was come to think of it. And, anyone who was aware of the Cullen secret would know that his molten gold eyes might have also been a clue that wholly warranted his decidedly chipper mood.
"Just drop me off here, Emmet," Jasper said, his smile audible even in his soft-spoken tone. Emmet's jeep promptly slowed, and before the wheels even had to come to a complete stop, the sounding slam of the passenger side's door could be heard after Jasper had stepped out. The jeep whirred away, leaving Jasper scanning the area, his eyes pleasantly expectant. His chest heaved with his deep intake of air, and the blonde shifted his stance a bit to the left. There weren't many cars around. It was far too early for that. And the humans that he could smell nearby were far and less in between as they skittered about. He assumed they'd be far too busy to pay him any heed. At least, for what he was about to do.
A second later, he was gone. Gone from where he'd stood anyway. The next instant found him standing next to a pretty, pixie-like girl's side, his hand already outstretched to take hers into it. "Mornin', beautiful," he greeted, bending his head to touch his chilled lips to her equally cool forehead. "Miss me, did you?" He tasted the anticipation that rolled off of her in waves and offered her a good-natured smile, a small chuckle falling suit. "I've only been gone since Friday."

Standing there, she awaited til Jasper would arrive at her side soon, off in the distance, she could hear Emmett's jeep, the sound of Jaspers voice and the slam of the door to the jeep. A giggle escaped the pale lips that belonged to her, as Alice stood there, the next thing she knew, she was within Jasper's arms and she felt whole again.
A smile spread across her lips, as she looked up towards him, a slight hint of a frown there as well "Of course I did.." she huffed out a bit "That's three days to many, Jasper.." she says quietly to him, though, she knew he'd hear her perfectly well. The smile stretched across her lips once more, she was just glad that he was back "Did you guys have a good time?" she asked him, curiously.

Jasper's eyes narrowed cheekily when Alice voiced her indignation, but it wasn't hard to see that he was flattered by her none the less. His head canted to the side with his shrug to her question, before he squeezed their interlaced fingers. "None more than the usual. Of course, Emmet was feeling rather partial to grizzly. Not a surprise. As usual, he rushed headlong into the bear; the poor animal never had a chance." The blonde chuckled as he gazed at the sky, seeing something that wasn't there-- remembering his hike probably.
He redirected his line of sight back to Alice and smiled a smile that might have dazzled a human heart into stopping. But for a girl whose heart was already stopped, one could assume it wasn't anything especially amazing. Tugging her hand softly, but firmly, Jasper began to lead his girlfriend down the sidewalk, resuming the path of Alice's that he'd previously interrupted. "What about you?" he murmured gently, the liquid gold eyes of his casting a glance down to her. "How have the rest of the Cullens been faring since we've left?"

Alice gave a small laugh, Emmett and his grizzly bears--it was entertaining at times really to see him go after one, the poor creatures never got a chance up against Emmett, she always felt sorry for them, but in the end, she got over it, and over it quickly. It was something she got use to over the years. Her eyes glowed as her smile widden towards Jasper, seeing that wonderful smiles of his, if any human girls were around, they'd just eat their hearts out at his amazing smile.
"Me? Miserable.." she smirks a bit "But, you are back, so that's all that matters, really." she leaned herself against his arm a bit, as the two of them started walking along down the sidewalk, in the path Alice had once been going, though, she wasn't walking anywhere in particular, just merely passing the time "The rest of the family is good too." she smiles up towards him "I'm sure Rose will be happy to see Emmett when he get's home." she laughs a little bit.
Alice shared her feelings with her sister whenever Jasper and Emmett went off on their little hunting trips. She would always make sure she worked extra hard on Bella's wedding planning, to keep herself occupied til her love got back.

A low chuckle fled Jaspers lips at her response. "Miserable?" he echoed, his voice mock-disbelieving. A soft wrinkle formed on his nose as his lips peeled into another smile. "Oh, come now," he crooned, his tone just above a playful tease. "Hiking for the Cullens is a weekly event. You can't have missed me.." he trailed off, only to pull Alice toward him to plant a gentle kiss at her temple, "...that much."
Though, on the contrary, he missed her just as much as she did him. More even, he'd like to think. But that was impossible to calculate. Unless you were a certain bronze-haired fellow who could interpret thoughts... But Jasper was reading too much into it. What could he do? It was in his nature to over-analyze small details.
The fact of the matter was that they both missed each other. Though it was hardly anything out of the ordinary. It was routine, even. Soon enough, Alice would have to go on her hunt. Even now her eyes seemed to be darker. A deep umber color, darkest around the pupils. The last time she hunted was the weekend before last with Esme and Edward-- or at least, from what Jasper could remember. His brow furrowed. "Speaking of, Alice," Jasper hummed, his lips still pressed to Alice's brow. "When are you going hunting? If I'm not mistaken, you do seem to be a bit peckish." He craned his head back to offer her a lopsided smirk. "I'm getting that vibe, anyway."

Alice gave a nod towards Jasper "Of course I was miserable." a frown appeared to her lips once more "Why would I be happy when you are away? It's no fun when you're not around." she gave a half smile. She loved having Jasper around--if she was feeling down, he could always make her feel better, give her a laugh and a smile to her face no matter what it was. She never liked being away from Jasper--it killed her..not literally, but in a sense.
She let out a small sigh at his next words, of course he needed to go off and hunt soon, but when did she have the time. And the extra time she did have, she was usually spending it with Jasper--maybe she could talk him into going with her, or something, maybe make it a trip for just the two of them. Then a thought clicked in her mind and it caused her to stop in her tracks, her eyes shot right towards the boy next to her "...Do you know what is in a few weeks?" she questioned him.

Jasper watched Alice curiously as she seemed to have an inward debate about something-- he could feel the waves of indecision and reluctance coming off of her. The blonde opened his mouth to inquire, but promptly closed it. He had sensed that she'd come to some revelation, so he figured she'd indulge him shortly. And Jasper wasn't disappointed; she did break the interval of silence with a question of her own, causing him to blink his liquid topaz eyes in confusion. "In a few weeks..." he repeated slowly, chewing over the words. Alas, he simply shook his head. "What's in a few weeks?" he asked, real curiousity in his tone. [/blockquote]

Alice gave a few blinks towards Jasper..a slight frown came across her lips, as a small sigh escaped them as well "Jasper..." she had sighed out, shaking her head a bit and looking away from him for a moment, before turning her gaze back towards him. She knew that since she hadn't fed, she might be a bit on the edgy side, but with Jasper, she always tried to be calm and nice towards him "Our anniversary.." she said to him quietly, as she adverted her look away from him.

Jasper gave his own frown when Alice's exasperated energy assaulted him after his question. He could see that she tried to keep her cool in front of him, but the waves of frutration that rolled off of her indicated otherwise. His eyebrow immediately raised with confusion and alarm. "Our anniversary?" he echoed, before, after clearing his throat and giving a quick nod, he repeated, "Our anniversary! Of course." He too looked away, obviously ashamed of the fact that he'd forgotten. Was their anniversary so soon already? It seemed like they'd just celebrated their last one yesterday. How time flew when you were a vampire! That factor never ceased to overwhelm him. [/blockquote]

Alice just rolled her eyes towards the boy next to her, she was really trying not to rip his head off right now--especially since she knew more students would be making their way towards the school soon, but it was frustrating--she just couldn't believe that he forgot about their anniversary. The day that the two of them met, the day the two of them went off and found the Cullens and became whole once more.
Another sigh came from her pale lips as she started to make her way once more on her path to no where "Don't worry about it, Jasper." she looked back at him over her shoulder, with a slightly devilish grin "Not like it's anything special." with that said, she looked ahead of her once more.
This was a side of Alice that no one, not even Jasper ever got to see. It was rare for her to go this long without feeding and she had a feeling that attending school today would most likley be a bad idea. Either one, a student would tick her off even more, or two, she'd eventually attack a student and that would just cause chaos and it would cause the whole school...the whole town..state..everyone in the world to know of who they are.

Jasper's eyes narrowed a fraction at this unwonted reaction, his golden eyes flickering now with a glint of annoyance. Alright, now this was not fair. They'd just been holding hands not even two minutes ago, telling each other how much they'd missed one another. And now, Alice was angry with him. And for what? Because he'd forgotten their anniversary? Well gee, he was only human! Er, well not technically. But the mechanics were still the same. Okay, not really. But still. He was over a century old. The years whirred by like days. He was bound to forget every once and a while.
"Alice!" Jasper called quickly, the fact that his teeth were grit making this an unintentional growl. The blonde, in a movement too quick for any human to imitate, promptly cut Alice off. He worried his lip a moment, clearing the ripples of frustration that emanated from Alice that smothered him like a blanket, and ultimately caused for his soured sentiments. "Alice..." he tried again, his voice managing a calmer, softer pitch. "I'm sorry," he said quickly. "I'm sorry-- I'm so sorry. I did forget, darling, but I really am sorry." He tentatively reached out to collect both Alice's hands, and only if their was no resistance on her part, would Jasper draw them to his lips to press an apologetic kiss to the back of her hand.
"Let me make it up to you?" [/blockquote]

Another sigh came from her pale lips, as Jasper spoke to her and reached out grabbing a hold of her hands. It was hard to be upset with him around and she was throwing it all out of proportion, but their anniversary was something special to her, it was a time when it could just be the two of them, and no one else around, letting themselves get away from the house, possibly even Forks for the day to just be alone.
Her eyes looked up towards his and a small smile came across her lips "I'm sorry, Jasper.." Alice looked away from him for a moment, then back towards him, giving him a small nod "Of course." a slight grin came to her lips "What are you going to do to make it up to me?" she asked curiously.

Jasper's golden eyebrows tilted when his gaze met with Alice's, and his own smile broke across his lips when he was rewarded by one of hers. He didn't expect her to be angry at him for long-- because she was, well, Alice, and she never tended to hold grudges longer than their significance. But what he definitely hadn't anticipated was her apologizing to him. His surprise was conveyed by way of two rapid blinks. When she agreed to the terms he hadn't thought through yet, Jasper stalled for just a moment, his own eyes drifting away.
Finally, he redirected them back to the dark pools of Alice's eyes, a small furrow in his brow. "Whatever you'd fancy-- you can call the shots," he said in his most sincere voice. "For my ignorance, you can have me do what it is you please. Tug me around for the next week by a leash and collar if you will it." With this he laughed. He didn't like to think she'd actually do that, but there was no way of knowing unless Alice was feeling exceptionally malicious. And after what he did, he couldn't rule that out. Though he grinned at Alice sheepishly, like the a bad puppy that had just soiled a new pair of shoes, he was obviously sampling the atmosphere to see if she actually was going to exploit the situation. whatever i want... the words rang through Alice's head for a moment before she could even think of anything. A slight smile came to her lips once more "Well..." she thought about it for a moment "How about just me and you go away? Possibly a hunting trip." she laced her fingers around his, pulling herself closer to him "Just the two of us." a slight grin went across her pale lips.
She knew she would need to do so soon--especially with her planning Bella's wedding, she didn't need to continue going without feeding, she knew in time, she'd have to go around Bella to get certain opinions from the human girl and things could go horribly wrong if Alice was to be around her, edgy, grumpy, and most of all--hungry.
